Sustainable/organic farming practices

Aware of the environmental issues linked to its production activities, Compagnie Fruitière has set up an ambitious programme aimed at reducing the use of synthetic fertilisers and treatments in our crops. To achieve this, we rely on our experts in agronomy and biology, as well as on our partners such as WWF, CNRS, l’INRAE, or CIRAD. Together, we are putting in place new, more virtuous agro-ecological practices and experimenting with innovative techniques in our plantations that respect the natural environment.

To reduce the use of phytosanitary products, for example, we are using auxiliary plants, insect traps, and more precise treatment of areas using drones. We have also reduced out consumption of synthetic fertilisers, replacing them with compost where possible, and we maintain soil fertility by regularly leaving cultivating areas fallow.
